THINKING DAY PARADE & RALLY

WHEN: Monday, February 22, 2010

WHERE: Glace Bay. Girls and Guiders will meet in the town parking lot - behind Pharmasave.

PARADE ROUTE: From town parking lot to Renwick Brook. Around Renwick Brook and on to St. Mary's Church Hall.

PROGRAM: Thinking Day games and songs.

Each unit is asked to bring a cheque - their unit contribution to the CWFF.                          Make cheque out to Girl Guides of Canada - Coastal District.

LUNCH: Cupcakes and juice. Guiders will bring cupcakes for their own girls. Juice provided by Coastal District Council.  

DRESS: Bundle up. It's always cold in February!

     QUILT THEME: WHAT GUIDING MEANS TO ME

            Quilted by: Janice Burgoyne's mother. The quilt has a block from  each Area in Nova Scotia.

            Quilt winner: Yvette Warner, Mic Mac District, Marine Shore Area

             Nova Scotia Guiders raised $2465.00 in support of the CWFF by selling tickets on this quilt.
